Aim/Objective/Mission : Community health promotion programe mass immunization program, health service camps. Health awareness camps have been a regular course of action of the organization. Last year 62 mass immunization camps were organized in collaboration with the local health infrastructure. Health service camps were organized in which 460 patients were undergone health check up and supplied medicines free of cost. The health programmer were organized by mobilizing local resources and with the help of local govt. Health infrastructure, health awareness camps were organized with villager?s contribution-participants from surrounding villages have attend the program. Youth leadership training program one youth leadership training programe was organized in which 25 participants from different youth club located in the block area have attended it. This was a 3 days training program and resource-persons from different keonjhar based reputed ngos have attended the training camp and imparted training to the participants. Environment awareness camp two environments awareness camps were organized in kantipal and baunsagarh gp headquarter respectively in which 600 participants have attended it. The participants have under taken plantation in their barren lands after returning from the camp. Total 2000 seedlings have been transplanted by the participants during last year. Craft development program a 15 days training on craft development were organized for 25 harijons & adivasi who were having traditional skills of different craft out of bamboo & asana. The traditional bamboo crafts men were skilled enough to develop their products by quality and now-a-days the products are highly appreciated by the general public and the craftsmen are selling their products at salabani weekly market at a higher price than before. Women development 7 women self-helps groups were organized and they were given seed money in from of loan and they are busy in multiplying their money through income generation programe. Total 25 women have taken loan during last year to run income generation programe. Programmes on aids our organization have organized the aids awareness camps among the school students, competitions was also arranged for them. The winners were awarded. Game & sports rural sports are also organizing every year for the youth. Many teams and participants come to participate in the rural sports. Best selected athletes send to the district level and state level. Future plan agriculture and wastelands development programme to be taken up in 3 villages. – Income generation programme will be taken up in 7 villages. – Promotion of adivasi culture by won language drama. Conclusion with innumerable up and downs and heavy financial stringencies we have completed five year of our existence in the field of rural development and hope to continue this effort for times to come.
