Aim/Objective/Mission : About micro finance barrackpore grameen vikash society micro finance is a critical driver in the process of financial inclusion. It is the means to an end. Financial inclusion necessitates the achievement of the four objectives of credit, savings, remittance and insurance. However, without the lifeline of credit, the other three objectives seem unattainable. Micro finance, therefore, provides the poor with an opportunity to begin or expand a micro-enterprise and is one step forward towards self-sufficiency. Many argue that micro finance may see increased success if development initiatives are carried out simultaneously as enablers for income generation. That in a way could help in the identification of root-cause and assist in economic development of the poor. Microfinance endeavors to be a part of that development process in a way by providing funds, the key catalyst, without which the wheels of progress might come to a grinding halt.
