Aim/Objective/Mission : To improve the socioeconomic condition of small and marginalized section of community particularly farmers, tribals, women through various integrated rural development initiatives. To develop and implement poverty focus participatory approach in watershed development and water resource developmnt program, which is sustainable. To develop and lift irrigation system. To set up knowledge center for rural people in areas of land and water resources. To promote organic production and their marketing in the area of agriculture. To help farmers to secure and safeguard the crops by providing storage godowns. To work for the developement and plantation of horticulture and medicinal plants. To help farmers do multi-cropping. To assist in hydrological testing centre. To develop rural roads for effective transport. To setup energy infrastructure to fulfill the needs of farmers. To help communities to setup food processing small scale industries. To work for women empowerment, upliftment, education and security of women. To create awareness among people about the steps and precautions to be taken care at the time of any natural disaster and also work, manage and help people in such situations. Training tribal women in varoius embroidery and crafts to generate jobs by selling products. Training self-help groups in crafts, painting, product making and traditional embroideries through various resources and trained tecnicians.
