Aim/Objective/Mission : I know the importance of eyes for a man. They are the most precious organ in our body. Life without eyes is miserable In order to bring some light of hope in the lives of blind, I had conducted free medical Camps in villages and slum areas. Till now I had conducted 50 eye camps with the help of Shankar Foundation Visakhapatnam and some service oriented doctors who voluntarily attended the camps and treated number of patients. They treated them and distributed medicines and spectacles free of cost to the needy. From this work nearly 5000 patients were benefitted and got treated for defect vision, cataract and migraine. Till now 5500 cataract operations were carried and the poor were benefitted through our eye camps. In all our camps 1200 villagers voluntarily came forward to register their names in our organization to donate their eyes. We got huge response for this program from the public which was published in news papers and I received appreciation and certificates from the district officials that has been enclosed. In the field of social service I acknowledge the youth about the importance of blood to man. Since then I had started to conduct numerous Blood Donation Camps in various villages in our mandal. Till now I had conducted nearly 50 blood donation camps and nearly 10, 000 youth voluntarily turned up and donated their blood. These blood packets were handed over to the Indian Red Cross Society and Andhra Pradesh Aids Control Board for which I had received the certificates of appreciation which I had enclosed at the end of the form. These camps had great impact on the community and nearly 10, 000 youth had been registered their names and address as donors. In times of needy they voluntarily donate blood for poor and helpless. I feel proud for myself in bringing this change in our rural community and I myself voluntarily donated blood for 20-25 times.
