Purpose : To provide treatment facilities to the thalassaemic children.
Aims/Objectives/Mission : In 1984 a group of bewildered but determined parents of the thalassaemics got together to form the thalassaemia society of India to combat the dreaded disease thalassaemia. The society is registered under West Bengal societies registration act. 1961 and is affiliated to thalassaemia international federation cyprus. To provide state-of-the-art treatment protocol to existing thalassaemics and to carry on research activities to innovate more effective treatment protocol. All the patients are given hassle free, systematic treatment. Facilitates activities like computer training etc to rehabilitate the thalassaemics.
