Purpose :
Aims/Objectives/Mission : Uttar Pradesh Positive Women Network (UPPWN+), A state level network of women living with HIV is a movement that represent issues affecting women and children across Uttar Pradesh. Since 2009, UPPWN+ has been actively advocating for changes that help women and children lead quality lives. UPPWN+ strives to create better opportunities for women and children with the support from national, State & District level support organizations. UPPWN+ is registered under Society Registration act 1860 and is affiliated to National Positive Women Network (PWN+), Chennai. Women living with HIV/AIDS and infected/affected children are all empowered to live a life of dignity and equality, free from stigma and discrimination. To change the existing situation of all women living with HIV/AIDS, and infected/affected children in India. We build capacities, increase access to rights, develop partnerships and advocate for programme and policy change.
