Aim/Objective/Mission : Aims and objectives to organize poor and tribal communities by strengthening village level organisations like, gram jagaran sangathans, adolescent girls and women groups to raise claim making capacity of people by sensitization process and also activating the means of education and awareness to reduce superstition, evil practices for positive growth in community to infuse gandhian model of self-sustaining village community by optimum utilization of village resources and also by ensuring peoples participation to promote and preserve natural and physical environment through intensive community level process for maintaining ecological balance and sustainable livelihood system to accelerate rights-based initiatives for peoples empowerment and entitlement to promote gender mainstreaming to strengthen advocacy and lobbying by correlating action to policy level implications current operation intensive operation villages with 47 hamlets of telkoi block in Keonjhar district on tribal empowerment and educational initiative. Community forest rights initiative and forest based livelihood coping with tribal adolescent girls and women groups called as siksha o jeevika panthi. Extensive operation steering forest area network study programme on implications of fra with participation of 10 ngos in select villages of 7 blocks. Past experience disaster response programme was undertaken in 14 villages severely affected by super-cyclone/ flood in raghunathpur and tirtol blocks of jagatsinghpur district. Led ngo level network on mainstreaming tribal people living in forest surrounding- the initiative was undertaken in 160 villages of keonjhar district with dfid support.
