To carry out sustainable and participatory development programme towards awareness and betterment in such sectors as, natural resource management, rural-health and sanitation commercial and organic farming, wasteland and watershed management, medicinal plant farming, alternative medicine, waste management, bio and non-conventional energy promotion programme, disaster management, food safety awareness, information technology programme, and technology transfer to grass root level with special attention to the marginalized section of our society such as tribal, slum dwellers and remote rural areas.
