Aim/Objective/Mission : National Institute Of Training And Skills Based in Jammu and Kashmir, formed by a group of likeminded, elite professionals and academicians from various segments of society. Mission of the organization is a single point mission that is development of the society as a whole and contribution to poor and under privileged people of indian and providing them education and basic healthcare facilities. We at nits involve the people of indiain the process of development of education, healthcare and environment. The responsibility of nits is mainly to uplift the education in the rural areas and we try to reach all area where education has not. We recognize education as the main tool that empowers individuals to make informed choices, resist oppression and claim their rights, besides opening new possibilities and opportunities for themselves. Everything that we do is focused on turning our beliefs into a tangible reality. We have a very comprehensive development program as per the requirement of the society as a whole. The philosophy of our organization is based on the belief that each individual deserves an equal opportunity for total development. This project aims to provide such facilities to poor and backward section of society by providing better educational facilities through our coaching centers, computer institutes, vocational training program, govt. Schemes for backward class in Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of indiaone of our focuses is to provide the benefits of various govt. Sponsored schemes to the general public. After a deep research conducted by nits with the help of its team members, we found that 90% of general public is not et al aware of the govt. Sponsored schemes of different departments of state govt. And central govt. As well. And due to high rate of corruption these benefits do not reach to its beneficiaries, such as social welfare department, ministry of human resources, ministry of technical education, national skills and development corporation govt. Of india etc. And those deserving beneficiaries legal status: registerd with govt of indiaby sub registrar of jammu jurisdiction registered with deptt of labor and employment, Jammu and Kashmir govt. Registerd with planning commision govt of india. Our major project for raising the funds for poor children n women?s. Udc card membership drive provide assistance to educated unemployed candidates to get skill development training and placement opportunities through govt. Sponsored schemes. One of our primary service is admission and carrier guidance, we provide free guidance for admission in top colleges outside Jammu and Kashmir free of cost for minority, sc st and obc category students and heavy discounts on admission fees for general category students. We have a dedicated placement cell for the placement of unemployed candidates in our state. Discounts on all retails outlets (major or minor) of J & Kd. Discounts on medical shops, laboratories, private nursing homes etc. Rebate on automobile showrooms, readymade garments showrooms etc. We also provide assistance for the promotion of solar energy and provide subsidy for the same. In future nits also decided to provide free stationary material like books, notebooks, to students belongs to poor class and provide the same material to the general category candidates we will organize free medical camp in rural areas of Jammu and Kashmir. We will provide assistance for shg and empower the women of rural areas or backward classed to earn good income and increase the standard of living. All the facility is providing just by contributing rs. 550 -one time by the member and an annual renewal of rs 100 per year, nits?s areas of interest: training and development through govt. Projects. Sponsored schemes and also establish such institutes and coaching centers where we can provide training and employment opportunities to unemployed unskilled workers, so that they can avail employment opportunities where specialized knowledge is required. Economic growth of every individual the economic growth of every individual is only possible, when everyone is economically independent, we believe that our youth plays the key role in the economic growth of the society on a whole. There are lots of govt. Schemes where govt. Gives subsidized loan facility for those young entrepreneurs who are willing to start their own small scale business units where they can not only earn their own bread and butter, but also give work to other unemployed candidates and enable them to raise their standard of living. Human resourse and job placement we have a dedicated human resourse and job placement cell, where we try to place those unemployed skilled professional who are not willing to take up entrepreneurial ventures and more interested in doing jobs out side the state and work with mncs, we have tie ups with mncs, in bpo, hospitality, fmcg, real estate, telecom etc industries where we can place candidates for a better future. Admission and guidance cell we have a dedicated admission and guidance cell, where we provide free of cost admission and guidance for those students belongs all the sections of society, whether socially and economically backward class or from middle or upper middle class students, both who can afford college fees and who cannot afford college fees, and also for those belongs to minority category. We believe that our country can rise only if the students of every society gets educated. Our dedicated team is available to provide women empowerment: in today?s india, women hold 49% share in total population. We only talks of equal rights for women but actually the picture is different. Women are still economical independent. One of our prime focuses is to generate more and more employment opportunities for the women to make them economical independent. We will also encourage young women entrepreneurs to take up ventures and start small scale units and engage more and more women in their business units. Our second would be, initiative is to promote the concept of self help groups, so that rural women can also work and become economically independent. In indiathe literacy rate is also very low in rural areas especially computer education, we are also committed to encourage to learn computers and internet so that they can connect with whole of the world. We have a 10 point solution to this problem. Create a safe space: women in south asia often have nowhere to gather with other women and talk about issues like gender equity, women?s rights, or health. Nits centers will provide a safe, trusted space for women to gather and learn. Support independence and mobility: most women in rural indiahave to ask their husbands for permission to leave home. With the help of their local nits center, a large majority of women will able to freely travel outside of their home unaccompanied. Teach women to read: if you are illiterate, simple things like reading signs on a road, numbers on a phone, or directions on a medicine bottle make daily life a struggle. Nits centers will teach thousands of women to read each year. Increase savings and income: savings cooperatives allow women to invest money and then take turns receiving micro-loans to start micro-businesses or invest in education for their children. Teach job skills and seed businesses: women learn beekeeping, mushroom farming, sewing, and other income-generating skills through training programs at nits centers.
