The objectives of the SKVM are generally to promote through out state all aspects of social work & in particular to aid & ensure the participation and coordination with the national policy, an integrated approach to solve the problems of developing rural communities, give facilities for community development of backward areas and to provide incentives and equipment to attract educated youth to rural development service and to under take research in sciences or applied sciences related to the work.
