Aim/Objective/Mission : Plan to empower is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting child welfare and women s rights in India. Plan to empower is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting child welfare and women s rights in India. We seek to safeguard the rights of women and children through advocacy, education, and empowerment. We work to ensure that families thrive in environments that are safe, healthy, nurturing, and productive. Women and children are the most vulnerable and disadvantaged constituents of most populations. At plan to empower, we believe that the human rights and the well-being of women and children are inextricably linked and mutually reinforcing, and we recognize that the empowerment of women and children in particular can have a compelling ripple effect on entire communities. Plan to empower is a professionally managed social organization working with a vision towards empowerment of people especially children, girls and women belonging to socially and economically marginalised communities. It believes in their potential to identify their issues, devise mechanisms and prepare road map for the impact they wish to achieve. Our main strategies are community based programming, adolescent girl s resource centres, social change catalysts, capacity building and mainstreaming with public service delivery systems. Our team including community facilitators, coordinators, trainers, researchers and managers facilitates planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programmes in Bihar, India. Women and children around the world are in desperate need of financial support, social equality and political representation. Economic development has been proven to better the quality of human lives and make possible the support, equality and representation desired by women and children. The gender gap that exists in global poverty is growing rapidly: the un development fund for women estimates that women represent seventy percent of those living in poverty today. Plan to empower seeks to change this. Plan to empower works very hard to implement entrepreneurial projects for women who would otherwise never have the opportunity to get an education or earn a salary. We aim to empower women to be independent. We aim to advocate for children and ensure their good health and access to an education.
