Aim/Objective/Mission: The aims of Rupsona Gramin Vikas Network are as follows: To work to bring all like-minded voluntary organisations, intellectuals and social activists under one umbrella to help serve the advancement of the Nation. To promote harmony and national integration among the members of the society irrespective of caste, class, community and religion. To work to provide equal opportunity to all sections of the society, end discrimination, untouchability, male chauvinism, caste conflicts, rural- urban fissures, VVIPs bias and dowry system in all its form from the society. To work to mobilise welfare schemes for the uplift of women, children, physically handicapped and the weaker sections of the society. To work to create a classless, tension free, oppression free society based on non-violence and brotherhood. To work to create awareness against social evils and promote patriotism in the society. To try to promote healthy reading habits and to help run Vachnalayas (reading rooms) in villages, slums and towns so that the neo-literates will always be in touch with reading materials. To manage to publish handbills, booklets, newsletters to impart all sorts of agriculture, education, science, development related informations to non-governmental organisations and masses. To try to extend a helping hand in promoting family planning measures, child and mother care.
