Aim/Objective/Mission : Our mission – support the disadvantaged sections such as sc, st, and minority sections to get access to the central and state government resources which are meant for empowerment rural & urban poor – we look after the girl child education, orphan children & destitute families, women, girl, handicapped and women and girls in distress. To provide support, build capacity, and integrate individuals into mainstream society who have traditionally been suppressed in personal, social, economic and political domains. – Empower women and youth with vocational skills and life skills to attain self ? employability to access to sustainable income sources. – Protect and promote traditional folk art forms to pass on future generations and train youth in folk art forms as a means of dignified livelihood promotion objectives to impart life skills to women and girls and empower them with skills necessary to earn their livelihood without dependency. To reduce poverty by improving economic status of individuals through income generation activities. To improve health status of communities through health education, environmental cleanliness, and increasing access to primary health and child care centers in remote villages. To organize women into self-help groups and develop their leadership qualities to facilitate making decisions at personal and social levels. To inculcate the habit of thrift (savings) and credit among target groups. To eliminate bonded, forced child labor and trafficking of women/girls. To promote gender equality. To promote cultural folk art forms and make it effective mass communication media to educate rural and urban masses on myriad issues affecting their progress. To educate women and girls in human rights education, legal resources and empowerment of women/girls through formation of self help groups the grama prgathi society is a non-governmental, non-profitable, non-political, secular rural developmental civil service society, working in semi-arid rayalaseema region in Andhra Pradesh. It is founded in 2009, and it is now working in more than 50 villages in ananthapuramu district of Andhra Pradesh. Sarada society has a good track record with sound background of the professionals, who have vast experience in the field of development. The society is committed to promote sustainable, equitable and constructive development for rural needy, poor and disadvantaged communities. The sarada society also initiated efforts in various inter-related spheres such as education, livelihoods, watershed management, natural resource management, health, women empowerment, and vocational & skill based trainings for youth and adolescent girls.
