Aim/Objective/Mission : Our endeavors hoist awareness of the prevalence and consequences of child sexual abuse by educating children and adults about the steps they can take to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to the reality of child sexual abuse. For this cause pragathi established a forum called forum for women & child protection to educate on safety in the working areas. Every day, adults miss real opportunities to prevent child sexual abuse because of misinformation and confusing stereotypes about sexual abuse. It is estimated that more than 300,000 children are sexually abused every year. By educating yourself, you can become a powerful force in making the world a safer place for kids. It s only in the last few decades that we, as a society, have started to acknowledge how widespread child sexual abuse has been and how much it hurts children. People who sexually abuse children rely on our confusion and on our reluctance to acknowledge discomfort. Adults?all of us?need to talk together about sexual abuse and to learn what to do to keep children safe. It is important to teach children about safety. It is more important to teach ourselves what we need to know in order to keep our children and communities safe. So as a first step we-pragathi-forum for women & child protection has developed a module about to conduct survey for 10000 school children in mandals of kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh. This survey is mainly to bring out hidden truth from the mouth of children and also to make them aware, recognize, react during the particular situation of sexual abuse.
