Purpose : POID Programme (prevention of impairment and disability)
Aims/Objectives/Mission : To prevent expansion of Chronic ulcer to the leprosy patients who are dwelling in the leprosy colonies. To provide proper health aid instruments to avoid the expansion of chronic ulcer which cause deformity and disability. By providing suitable assistive and corrective devices and self medical care and conducting regular followup camps to observe their improvement.
