Aim/Objective/Mission : Accessibility of safe drinking water in all our operational area total eradication of cooch behar – ii detection of hiv/aids cases, prevention, rehabilitation and counseling for behavioural changepeoples institutions taking the key role in planning, implementation and policy advocacy. The comprehensive eye care service will be continued during the coming years with lateral and vertical expansion. Policy advocacy campaigns to re-establish the rights of the tribals, dalits and other deprived sections of the society will be continued. Sponsorship program for the socially and economically backward students, to support their education, health care, nutrition, clothing allied with various vocational trainings is also on the anvil. Sustainable and sound environment and forest management will be focused. Programs to accelerate livelihood and food security will be launched keeping in mind the optimal utilization of the available natural resources. In view of the increasing incidence of various natural calamities, action plans will be chalked out for disaster preparedness.
