Aim/Objective/Mission : Vision to contribute in building a society where all people can gain access to basic amenities such as education, health care, water & sanitation and livelihood opportunities and where all people can realize their full potential mission capacity building and empowerment of deprived and vulnerable communities through information, education & organization for their better access to rights & entitlements values equality dignity honesty commitment, courage & conviction transparency & accountability working philosophy ? preparing people to help themselves target groups Parmarth has been principally working in the favor of poor, marginalized, vulnerable and deprived sections of society in the remote, ravine and drought affected areas of bundelkhand region of uttar pradesh & madhya pradesh. The region has been historically facing multiple susceptibilities of the feudal system, caste discrimination, gender discrimination, untouchability, illiteracy, poverty, migration, natural calamities, drought etc. The organization works with the poorest and most marginalized women, men, girls, boys and socially excluded people. Outreach & coverage? the organization is working in bundelkhand region of uttar pradesh and madhya pradesh. Presently, the organization has direct reach in 267 villages of 12 blocks in 7 districts of Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh & Madhya Pradesh. The organization has been engaging 264 cbos with approximately 6310 community members. Parmarth is also working with 20000 women on the issue of water, sanitation, livelihood and agriculture. Parmarth works in over 5 districts (Jalaun, Hamirpur, Lalitpur, Mahoba & Jhansi) of Uttar pradesh and 2 districts (Teekamgargh & Chattarpur) of madhya pradesh key strategy mobilizing & organizing community groups with focus on dalits/ adivasi/ women knowledge building and strengthening capabilities model demonstration and its replication through socially excluded groups with a focus on women convergence and sector institutional engagement public engagement and campaigning policy advocacy strategic focus water & sanitation rights with gender & inclusion perspective right to food, work and livelihood women and girls? rights education (with special focus on dalits/ adivasi & girls children) hiv & aids ? health & nutrition cross cutting issues equity, justice, rights & entitlements, gender empowerment, distress migration and disability are the cross cutting issues of the organization.
