Purpose : Service to the visually impaired persons.
Aims/Objectives/Mission : Our mission is to function as a state wide comprehensive resource and to work cooperatively with related agencies in providing a full range of services to all persons who are blind or visually impaired, including those with multiple disabilities. Indian association for the blind (iab) was established in january 1985 with the objective of providing opportunities for education, vocational training and self-employment for the visually handicapped from weaker sections, from the rural areas, to become self reliant.
