Aim/Objective/Mission : The vision of score is to be a people centered grass root level developmental organization effectively addressing the developmental issues of the rural and tribal poor and socially under privileged people at micro and macro levels coordination with like minded ngos and people?s organizations. Mission: the mission of score is to promote community based sustainable development effectively through its community based groups in collaboration with government and like ? minded local and international ngos. Score is basically an education and development promoting organization. It inspires, promotes, facilitates and co-ordinates the efforts of the people and groups towards achieving the common goal. Aim: score aims to promote physical, social, mental and spiritual well- being of the individual and the community based on values of justice, love, equality and peace. Score hopes that this will lead to the establishment of a just social order. Objectives of the organization: the long-term objective: empower and promote the poor rural and tribal communities to become self ? dependent in all spheres of life. The short -term objectives: work with women groups for their development, empowerment and rights in socio ? economic, educational and health life, work with youth and children?s group for personality and leadership and educational development, work with small and marginal farmers for promotion of sustainable agriculture, work with tribal communities for their rights and development, work with differently ? able people for their welfare and development and rights. Work for the community based control and prevention of hiv aids and work with the people affected with hiv aids involve in health development including reducing stigma discrimination, priority to care and support to plhas, clhas ? both infected and affected families. Develop the community with participation of community for their collective development. Present activities: formation and strengthening of women, youth and men self help groups and federating the formed groups at the block level. Taking up campaign works on child rights and women rights. Working for the prevention of dropouts from the school and main streaming to the formal education. Providing community based care and support for the people ing with hiv aids. Organizing the farmers into groups at the community level, train them in organic farming and follow ? up them for sustainable agriculture. Taking up of need based welfare and developmental activities for the tribal communities.

Aim/Objective/Mission : To enlarge in formal and non formal education. To start guidance and counseling centre for youth male and female students, drug ? addicts and the like group both in urban and rural areas. To establish rehabilitation centre for mentally disturbed, handicapped, widows, aged people neglected children and orphans both in urban and rural areas. To provide self-employment training and programmes for unemployed youth, women etc, to mobilize and organize women, youth and rural workers towards self-employment and co-operative movement. To start and run home for the children, aged, hostel for working women youth hostel and the like. To organize programmes for rural development and urban development. To create awareness about environment, health and hygiene. To conduct seminars, conferences, workshops, and socially relevant themes both in cities and villages. Guiding and training the repatriates to get settled and for job opportunities. Charitable activities means activities relating to- care or counseling of terminally ill persons or persons with severe physical or mental disability, persons affected with hiv or aids and persons addicted to dependence-forming substance such as narcotics drugs or alcohol. Public awareness of preventive health, family planning or prevention of hiv infection. To start primary school, middle school and schools for higher education. To run supplementary schools, coaching centre for competitive examination, etc. , to start adult education centre s both in rural and urban areas. Indicating the available opportunities in both education and employment to students, unemployed youth and to the weaker section. Establishing family counseling centre s to enable the women to resolve their family disputes peacefully. Guiding the women to make use of the provisions available for them. Starting the counseling centre for motivating the drug addicts for de-addiction, establishing students counseling cum library facilities both in rural and urban areas. Starting rehabilitation centre s with industrial units, cottage industries, handicrafts unit, tailoring unit, domestic products unit in which the widows, neglected women, handicapped, neglected children. Establishing rural based industries on order to develop the rural economy. Starting counseling centre s to the to the mentally ill persons with psychiatric ward and rehabilitation centre s for mentally retarded. Giving training for the youth women in type ? writing and shorthand training in mat weaving, coir unit, and in the production of domestic goods.organizing youth clubs, women s club and to enable them to participate in welfare programmes, encouraging them in self ? employment. To educate the people in co-operative farming by using common irrigation system, and collective farming. Marketing the products in a co-operative system. Starting home for neglected children, running hostel for working women, establishing youth hostel home for the aged and alike. Undertaking various rural and urban development programs, such as food for work, trysem, irdp, riegp, jry, slum development programmes and integrated nutrition project. Conducting slide shows, video shows, exhibition, medical camps meetings, seminars on environment health education, pollution control and hygiene, conducting environment protection camp, social forestry programme and constructing houses for the poor sanitary latrines, mother and child care training on pre-natal and post – natal care and nutrition food for children.organizing male and female self help group and also provide free legal and aid assistance to the people both in rural and urban.
