Aim/Objective/Mission: Asaktha Poshaka Sabha was established in 1923 and is a registered organisation under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act. It has been in existence for the last 79 years providing food, clothing and shelter to aged destitutes and orphan children. The institution is also providing medical care to inmates of the institution. The service is absolutely free of charge. There are at present 138 aged destitutes comprising 106 ladies and 32 gents. There are 27 girls and 28 boys in the age group of 7 to 10 years and they are being provided education upto 10th standard by sending them to nearby well-known school.
