Purpose : Corporate Social Responsibility, Disability, General – Social Welfare, Legal Awareness, Physically Disabled, Rehabilitation, Women Development/Welfare The Dfdw Provides Matrimonial Assistance To Deaf Girls And Boys To Happily Settle In Married Life.
Aim/Objective/Mission : Our major rehabilitation projects and programs have enabled deaf women to develop strong personalities, equipped them with various skills and eventually gaining them a sense of self-reliance and economic abilities. Our objectives to rehabilitate hearing impaired women and girls. To provide technical training to improve their credential. To give them an opportunity to prove themselves through our rehabilitative activities and talent competitions. To provide a platform to ambitious deaf girls through beauty pageant. To find the hidden talent in young deaf children. To create awareness among common people. To uplift the moral & sporting spirit among deaf and to bring overall personality development. To improve their knowledge about various health issues like aids to provide them independent life by providing job opportunity. To encourage & develop culture & dramatics. develop vocational skills. Counseling & guidance projects Technical training institute information technology and computer center for deaf it is the center where we provide computer courses, typing courses and office management training for deaf. Vocational training center a vocational training center for deaf women who haven?t done their schooling and we also provide stipend to needy students. There is no fee charged for these courses. The courses offered are cutting & tailoring, handicraft making, batik painting, book binding, leather handicraft, beauty culture, computers, english language development, sign language. Pranay milan sammelan is also a big achievement of DFDW. It has helped many deaf women to choose a right life partner for them. Theater workshop it is a one month or so workshop in which the talented deaf artist are trained the acting skills of theater and acting so that they are able to make new career in acting. Our beneficiaries comprises of the following students for this program. Neo literate deaf women Pass outs of primary schools dropouts of formal education Deaf women.
