Purpose : Social Work.
Aim/Objective/Mission : To work for the welfare of the disadvantaged community with special focus onurban poor, children, and women. Work to promote human and health rights in the society. To work for the social, physical, educational and vocational development of children, urban poor and women with special focus on members from disadvantaged community. To create and carry out awareness, sensitization on human rights and social issues in the community, schools, institutes and other groups. To support and increase the ability of local groups to take action on resolving community problems and delivering community programs that support family and community life. Work towards influencing policies and legislations for the health of the people. Provide an effective, quality training service to meet the needs of children, urban poor, and women especially focus on disadvantage group and organizations working for social development. Conduct research on social and development issues including health, communication, livelihood etc. work to decline the activities that promote discrimination and prejudice against. Strengthen networking and development of human resources on advocacy strategies, protection, and psychosocial counselling of children. To work for environmental issues like tree plantation, clean and safe practices etc. and to create awareness about the same among children, youth and community. To educate the people for adopting the norms of a good citizen and to work for spreading the ideas of nationality among the people. To work for uplifting status of the women in the society. To work against dowry system and to raise voice against the victimization of girl/women by any person of the society on account of dowry related matters. To work for uplifting poor rural/village people for their all round development. Aware people/children regarding the health issues like immunization, sanitation tuberculosis, aids etc. Build active, sustainable partnership with individuals, community at large, government, media and other organizations committed to the field. To empower working and street children for their overall development.
