Aim/Objective/Mission : The North Bengal, is one of the most backward and neglected zone of the state of West Bengal from all aspects of modern living. The existing government facilities are few and obsolete. It is therefore an urgent need to the concerns of health, education, vocational training activities, youth culture and sports. Food and nutrition for women and child, environment programmes, tutorial homes and income generation activities by a facilitation agency. There is a need to provide basis health and educational facilities in the area. To establish this society the organization made plane to make aware rural people on different issues with its limited economic resources. The mission and objective of the organization the active and whole hearted participation of the community is ensured due to the need, which is being addressed by our organization. Cooch Behar Himalayan nature development society succeeded to which its working area and carried out a series of activities in rural development aspects such as organization of various level groups specially women groups women and child development, thalassemia programmes.

Aim/Objective/Mission : Accessibility of safe drinking water in all our operational area total eradication of cooch behar – ii detection of hiv/aids cases, prevention, rehabilitation and counseling for behavioural changepeoples institutions taking the key role in planning, implementation and policy advocacy. The comprehensive eye care service will be continued during the coming years with lateral and vertical expansion. Policy advocacy campaigns to re-establish the rights of the tribals, dalits and other deprived sections of the society will be continued. Sponsorship program for the socially and economically backward students, to support their education, health care, nutrition, clothing allied with various vocational trainings is also on the anvil. Sustainable and sound environment and forest management will be focused. Programs to accelerate livelihood and food security will be launched keeping in mind the optimal utilization of the available natural resources. In view of the increasing incidence of various natural calamities, action plans will be chalked out for disaster preparedness.
