The project is located at Kannara Village, Ollokkara Block in Thrissur district of Kerala. KIB was started by a dynamic visually impaired team who all were educated and committed. The idea of forming an association for themselves mooted during their college days, when they realised the degree of rights denied to them just because of their visual loss.
