The area is predominated by traditional fishermen, tribals and harijans who have been continuously exploited in their trade by middlemen and influential people in the society. This has lead to deterioration in their socio-economic conditions. Lack of proper social security systems have made the life of certain groups highly vulnerable, such as working children, people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHA) and their families, single women, aged people, differently able people. ARDAR is committed to working for these groups, prioritizing the people who are most in need. ARDAR works towards building up self-sustained communities with widening thought and action to move forward. To work with backward and native communities and vulnerable groups in facilitating change towards development. To provide infrastructure for education, income generation and health.
