Purpose : To eradicate poverty and social evils form the society and thus aid in building a developed nation.
Aim/Objective/Mission : Arpan was founded in response to the needs of communities living in rural areas in Andaman & Nicobar. Work for the welfare of women and children, to provide social psychological, legal and medical assistance to children, women, youth and old age persons.
To help the poor and downtrodden by providing, livelihood support by proper network with govt, and non govt. organizations.
To work to unite the different religion and culture in the society and to work for the local issues.
To work to eliminate social evils like drugs, alcoholism, child abuse and child labour.
To coordinate, collaborate and network with govt. And non govt. Organizations to advocate issues and concerns of children, youth, women and old age persons.
To work towards environment protection.
To work towards prevention of communicable diseases by providing medical assistance in collaboration with govt. And non-government organizations.
Disaster management agriculture and allied activities.
