Purpose : Education for poor.
Aims/Objectives/Mission : Acosa has been successfully active from 1995 in working for the welfare of the poor and marginalized especially the dalit women. Many of its activities relate to providing succor and timely help for the destitute women orphaned children and children infected with hiv aids. Further it has worked on economic social and political empowerment of women in inaccessible and remote rural areas and therefore has a prototype for extending such programme to other areas in this sate and other parts of India. Such division of labor could enable first of all improved efficiency and ability to concurrently monitor and evaluate the projects supported. One importantly acosa being a secular registered society it would be appropriate that secular activities is being carried out by acosa which would also facilitate acosa to draw resources from other governmental and non governmental agencies, so that our programmes can have larger substantive content and geographical coverage.
