Aim/Objective/Mission: On August 20, 1979, Athma Shakti Vidyalaya was opened in two residential houses in JP Nagar, which at that time was very much on the outskirts of Bangalore. The beginning of this therapeutic community brought together a number of people, a vision, and willingness to change what is possible. The purpose they had centred an young people who had serious psychological problems, to help these young people in whatever way possible to come out of this psychological problems.
