Aim/Objective/Mission: RCSD is an S&T NGO based in Northeast India and undertake scientific research and extension for promotion of sustainable development addressing issues relating to energy, water, environment degradation, biodiversity and climate change. Seek out and share knowledge, provide innovative policy advice and link partners in building sustainable livelihoods for the poor and the underprivileged. Assist national and global initiatives in poverty eradication strategies based on local needs and priorities. Undertake training and capacity building to bridge the information gap, demystify technologies and building awareness amongst various stakeholders namely NGOs, VOs, Govt. departments, private, social and community based organizations.
