Aim/Objective/Mission : INSMS is a lucknow based non-profit organization working for capacity building, training and skill development of youth belonging to marginalized family, registered under societies registration act?1860 in the year 1985. The seed for effectively orchestrating on the need for vocational training in the unorganized sector was instituted by INSMS from 1985 following the realization that non-formal vocational training was a very critical need in india, and that it is needed special focus and support in addition to the regular support provided by INSMS for other development interventions. The focus was on making the target community employable by building skills to earn a living in a job of their choice, preferably as entrepreneurs to effect more employment for others. The accent was not to prepare youth for wage employment but for enterprise development. Conceptualization of INSMS was based on the vision of some emphatic professionals from different segments who vowed to enhance the living status of economically weaker, socially disadvantageous and excluded youth in the society. Ins is an association of people who believe that poverty and exclusion can be address through integrated and participatory development approaches. INSMS is committed to work for economically weaker and disadvantageous youth in urban, rural and tribal areas through its innovative approaches. The programmes adopted are for empowering, skill development & training to rural and urban youth so that they get some kind of skilled employment or engaged in self employment through which their standard of living rise. We are promoting peoples participation throughout the works, which provide us opportunity to learn and de-learn for positive change.
