Purpose : Rural Development
Aims/Objectives/Mission : DDS is engaged in programmes on integrated rural development for the benefit of rural poor, backward sections and other disadvantaged people. It also undertakes programmes on promoting technologies involved in dryland farm management and production. Programmes on adult education, leadership development and non-formal education in the interests of the poor and disadvantaged are some other areas in which the organisation is involved.
