Purpose : for the welfare of women, handicraft and other activities.
Aims/Objectives/Mission : The salient objectives and features. Collecting information and necessary data for identification and selection of craft persons clusters. Collection of information and data for final selection of the crafts persons, development of action plan and benchmark formation of the selected clusters of the crafts persons. Identification of potential members of target communities. identification of appropriate sites with desirable population density of craft persons. Orientation of mind set of the craft persons towards gender integration and role of women in the development of community/collectively owned enterprises. Ascertian the constraints in the promotion of handicrafts activities in the village. The constraints include mobilization of the community, self reliance and sustainability of operations and other social constraints inter-alia gender biases.
