Aim/Objective/Mission : Vision we envisage a society where health, tribal, water problem and holding of various issue through awareness to community for employment and self reliant. Mission we will work grass root through community mobilization, education awareness for development. Objective organization s major objective is to work for rural population for the betterment of their health as well as try to make safe & healthy future for their children.organization is performing best of their ability not only in health but in other sectors like watershed management, rural water & sanitation program etc. Msvt background maharashtra samajik vikas trust, pen was established in 1998 and registered under the charity commissioner. We work in thane, raigad, ratnagiri, parbhani, sangali & pune districts of maharashtra. The organization started catering to the hiv and aids issues in the advent of the national aids control programs and has a long history of working since the second phase of the program in maharashtra. Msvt work in health natural resource management drinking water & sanitation livelihood projects of msvt health :- hiv awareness program, migrant-ti, link worker scheme, truckers-jnpt truck terminal, pptct, tb awareness natural resource management:- bharat nirman rural water supply program, iwmp (tal. Pen, poladpur), wgdp (mangaon), participatory rural appraisal capacity building agency dro:- ngo have a project called district resource organisation (dro). In this we provide 2 to 5 days residential trainings. Ngo has their expert technical staff. These trainings are related to watershed management. Training participants are president & secretary of village watershed committee & sarpanch as well as other committee members, watershed development team etc. Livelihood development agency(lra):- we have project called lra. In this program basically we engaged as a skill development training institute. We use to give trainings to shg s of villages where iwmp project implemented. We have all facilities for conducting trainings not only one day but also residential trainings too. Key resource organisation (krc) maharashtra samajik vikas trust has been selected as krc under nirmal bharat abhiyan. We have target to do odep (open defecation elimination program) in more than 130 villages of whole raigad district. As well as organising programs like awareness about sanitation & bcc for toilet usage, innovative activities etc. We have started our work of odep in pen taluka. Because of previous rapport in villages of raigad districts, we can easily coordinate with stakeholders of villages.
