Aim/Objective/Mission : Kanai the blind, begs alms/in the road side with lyre andha kanai pather dhare / gan suniye bhiksha kare – rabindranath tagore we are habitual with so many promising words of scholars in well decorated dias for the welfare of the persons with disabilities. With full tribute to kabiguru, this to be utter that if a person become disables with visual impaired he has to beg alms for livelihood and he is bound to know singing. Jhanjha Unnayan Samity is performing for the disables since 200the samity has its own ideas through practical work that the persons with disabilities may overcome the disabilities with holy touch of proper guidance and atmosphere. Even they can prove the sanskrit proverb pangu langhayate girim. In this purpose Jhanjha Unnayan Samity has prepared a detailed project report under the title a project report for proper education and perfect rehabilitation for the disable child & persons in the district of murshidabad. India, our holy motherland, is a glorious country. We have reached the top most goal of human civilization. We the indians have crowned the throne of superiority of the world. But our head bowed down with a shameful curse of the burning problem of begging. No doubt begging is one of the greatest problems of india. If we look into the statistics of begging, it reveals that 75% of the street beggars are either children or persons with disabilities. 10% beggars belong to religious monk and the rest have no paths who have been deserted by their families beg alms to gather single square meal a day. Though there are so many schemes including pension’s schemes for the old aged persons, but it is the reality at the villages such target groups are deprived of their helpings for the reasons of one or another. Any one may find 1-2% children of our population asking alms in buses, trains, railway platforms or any where. Most of them are either orphans or foster child. More or less 5% women either divorcee or widow or somehow undesirable by their families are bound to beg only for bread. 4% beggars beg to get rid of incurable disease, cremational rituals of father and mother, marriage of girl child or for religious purposes. Of late the so called political beggars are uncounted here. Besides, some clever and educated so called beggars are found in offices, buses, trains and other public places. These are not our subject matter. The main theme of our observation is about the 75% beggars who are facing disabilities. If we classified such beggars it may found that 30% of them are of mild cases of disabilities. If they appear before the medical board, it may reveal 40% disabilities out of 30%. They are 60% able as a normal child or person. But with his 60% ability they use to beg alms. They never focused with such an idea that they are able to work as a normal man. This idea never generated either socially or organizationally. We are in high belief that such type of beggars may be up rooted from the society. To make success this goal the only one thing that is needed is proper training for job orientation with sound capital assistance. If we do arrange this we may rehabilitate this 30% of beggars in the main stream of social life. Both the central & state government has implemented so many schemes in this field. If we can avail of this opportunity, we may reach to our destination. Next, 30% beggars are disabled with 41-60% disabilities. If we can provide them medical & equipmental aids, they can earn self dependently for their livelihood. These types of disable person or children are classified as moderate. The rest 15% are of sever and profound classes. They are dependent on others for their movement but this is not the excuse that they have to beg alms. We may distinct the followings:- if hearing aids be provided to a disable person or children who are hi, he may perform his duties self dependently as other sensual limbs of his are in sound position. With the benefit of various aids and equipments the orthopedic handicapped may change their livelihood. With the bliss of modern technology the vis may sign in life through proper education. Even the illiterates or the literates may change their life style with proper training and bless of science and through this alternative accommodation we may wipe out the problem of begging from the society and rehabilitate such persons in earning life. There are complex problem regarding mental retardation. But if some one step forward to help such persons by counseling, he may able to eradicate the problem of unemployment for him self and extend helping hands to person concerned. There are so many governmental and non governmental schemes and projects are available in our state. Even an employed person also may share important role. If we discuss an elaborate discussion on the concerning problem, we may wipeout the problems of begging due to disabilities. All the people have a role in this task. The sole aims and objects of this present project are to rehabilitate the persons with disabilities through proper training on scientific education and job orientation. Netaji subhash chandra basu abasik pratibandhi vidyalaya sponsored by Jhanjha Unnayan Samity is working to this destination. Through formal education the persons may reach at the gateway of higher studies and others may start a new life through job oriented vocational training. In this way the concerned problem will be eradicated. Besides, we have arranged for the benefit of various schemes and projects of both central and state government through proper training. With full knowledge of such the concerned people will achieve their rights. This to be mentioned that, having so many programmes for the welfare of the disables the disables of hariharpara block of the district murshidabad are in deep rooted problems. What is the reason behind it? A survey in this respect reveals:- most of the people and their families want to manage with the so called ideas due to ignorance family members are not beyond the negligent attitude; this is pathetic but absolutely correct lack of proper morale power lack of proper rehabilitation not only this but also a superstitious idea make this problem deep rooted. Such as he will feed, who gives seed zeeb diyechhen jini, ahar deben tini) and has man any hand upon whom the allah send as blind or lame? (Allah jake kana khora kare pathiyechhen tar upor manusher hat ki?) and one type of business man is using religion to this respect. With motivating words they drained the disables to choose the path of begging. We will take pain to look into the reports of world health organization that 10% of people of our motherland india are suffering from disabilities. In accordance with census report 2011, 3% people of india are handicapped. The percentage may 3 or 10 that does not vary in our province west bengal the percentage has exceeded 3%. The diagram of murshidabad is very poor and the diagram of hariharpara in respect of demography is nothing to be mentioned. This can not be denied that major percent of muslim minority people (63.67%) are residing at this district murshidabad. This district is the largest muslim populated district of india. This district has bagged the top most position in india in respect of economical backwardness. Some critics say there are no comparisons of the district murshidabad with the district purulia which is the most backward district in respect of education. There is no industry in this district. The heritage of this district cottage and small scale industries have covered faces in the pages of history.
