Purpose : Associationship work
Aim/Objective/Mission : Plant chemistry and biological studies of the medicinal, aromatic, pesticidal and other useful forest plants for their efficient utilization. Development of plant based value added products, technologies and their transfer to interested entrepreneurs for their utilization to human welfare. Ethno-botanical studies, cultivation and conservation of medicinal, fruit, fodder , fuel and timber yielding plant species of Himalayan regions including rare, threatened and endangered plants and to encourage and assist lab-land-market strategies. To establish station laboratories rural area and provide training to researchers and useful plants farmers for the development of nursery, mass scale cultivation of medicinal and other useful plants for their commercialization and socio-economical upliftment of rural peoples. To carry out environmental, watershed management studies,and awareness programme. Collaborative research works with national and international R & D organization/institutions/labs/bodies etc. To promote organization?s activities through seminars, workshops, exhibitions etc. and publication of the research papers, report, books etc. To carry out the work (s) for the rural development . To generate funds through technologies, products, books, journals etc and to arrange funds for the research, development and other programmes from governmental, non-governmental, personal, foreign funding agencies of bodies. To promote, organize and work for children and women-empowerment, education, eco-tourism, rural IT, cultural programme, entertainment, health, livelihood, animal husbandry, micro-finance, rural development project and exhibition for self employment, community and public interest. To arrange and organize programme of vocational and awareness programme for the empowerment of women and youth. To work on agrobased activity, agroforestry, horticultural, sericulture and floriculture for the economic empowerment of social development. To work and promote a project from KVIB/KVIC and other depts.for the rural development and upliftment of human being.
