Aims/Objectives/Mission : Pratinidhi vision is to evolving pratinidhi as a centre of excellence for people centred holistic development. Pratinidhi mission is to be empowering communities through capacity building, which will enable them to organise themselves, gain self-respect, lead a value based life and be forthcoming in supporting local initiative at the community level. The origin of pratinidhi society may be traced to the letter written by dr. Shambhu nath, a resident of balia. He has elaborated upon the voluntary efforts which have been made in the district. Dr. Shambhu nath has also been a class-mate of the chief executive of this organisation during his college education. A meeting of like-minded people working in some voluntary organizations was called, taking inspiration from him. In this meeting, the voluntary efforts made by the government and non-government organizations (gos/ ngos) ever since independence for downtrodden (dalit) community were deliberated and analysed.
