Aim/Objective/Mission : DEF?s Objective is to prepare the deaf to walk with the times. We are dedicated to work for the development of the deaf community and enhancing the quality of their lives by providing educational facilities, promoting social and cultural awareness and working towards barrier free communication for the deaf. To empower the deaf by providing adult literacy in indian sign language. To provide job oriented vocational training for the deaf in southern india. To train potential deaf candidates as instructors for the deaf in indian sign language. To provide teaching classes for the purpose of training the deaf in indian sign language.
