Aims/Objectives/Mission : Thank you for your e-mail id, here i am sending the information to your consideration. Organization background refuge trust is a voluntary social society. As mentioned above that society has carrying out its activities for the last several years in rural & urban areas of district Vellore. Society was established with basic aim of providing social services. For this purpose society has started several activities for the welfare of the public. These activities training course of tailoring, knitting, fashion designing for women and computer training course for girls, women & youths. in addition to it society also carries out several camps, seminars, workshop, on different topics like family welfare, medical aid & counseling, education, awareness camps, pollution, environment protection, family planning camp, AIDS Protection Camps, E.D.P. camps etc. Simultaneously Society has also been carrying out programme for providing education to children. Society has been carrying out out education institution. Non-formal education for pre-primary level children and adult education to promote the cause of literacy. Formal education by opening middle level education institution. Cultural activities for including the spirit of brotherhood, communal amity and cooperative spirit. Vocational training in various arts and crafts for women and youth to make them self- reliant/ self-dependent. Creation of awareness on various subjects for removal of ignorance and poverty. Environment conservation awareness programmes and activities. Sanitation and hygiene promotion and village & slum development activities. Family welfare and health care activities and motivation programme for family planning. Care of old aged persons, children and destitute women. The society during the last many years has conducted a number of programmes with fruitful results within its limited resources.
