Purpose : Rural development.
Aims/Objectives/Mission : To promote initiate the soil and water conservation measures for environment protection and biodiversity. To strive for sustainable development processes and improvement in the quality of life of deprived people through capacity building and appropriate vision. To initiate undertake or avail sustainable agricultural and animal husbandry development programmes for improving the quality of life of the poor and peasants. To classification of soils, land use, farmer communities and landless labourer, present and proposed consumption levels of food, fodder and fuel. To study, analyze and offer recommendations to generate awareness regarding suitability of crops with regard in agro-climatic zones, climatic and weather factors, monsoon behaviour and advanced technics suitable to the villages. To provide necessary information with regard to government policies, subsidies and schemes available and to identify areas that need training inputs and skill development. To Generate awareness amongst villagers, project people, project staff and the women self help groups, youth clubs, to promote watershed, waste land, micro level village development in a participatory manner.
