Aims/Objectives/Mission : To work for greater participation of the poor and marginalized people in the development process and enhance their capacity in decision making, making the right choices and strive for gender equality and justice. Promote social awareness and accessibility among the poor and the marginalized people through information, education, communication and innovative programmes. Enhance their accessibility to knowledge and information and work for all round community development. Ensure integrity and diversity of nature, sustainable use of natural resources, promote conservation and support innovations, in natural resources regeneration, enhance livelihood systems of the poor. Promote health services, social care, reproductive sexual health among communities especially among the poor, and make special efforts to train and build the capacity and establish a core group of cadre in Orissa who would facilitate the process of. Help communities in developing areas find solutions to social, economic and environmental and livelihood problems through research.
