Aim/Objective/Mission : Foundation For Entrepreneurship Development Of Orissa (FEDO) is a non-profit making, non-political and non-government organization in the state committed for enabling self help and enhancing livelihoods of deprived rural, urban and tribal communities integrating micro-finance & micro entrepreneurship cultures in the process of stimulatory, support and sustaining socio economic activities in orissa since 1990. The mission of fedo is to identify, motivate, train and create micro and rural entrepreneurs through self employment and small business development programmes with valuable support of the world bank, nabard, sidbi, kvic, mvsn, directorate of industries – orissa, capart, local bankers, and several sponsored ngos & bilateral agencies. The foundation has completed 15 years of services in implementing 300 batches of redp/tech-edp/sbd programmes for training to 7500 dropouts rural youth/shg women members of which 68% and more have successfully launched their ventures to become own boss. We have experimented nearly 51 trades of farm & non-farm activities in this purpose.
