Aims/Objectives/Mission πŸ˜• The UNDP-World Bank Water and Sanitation Programme (WSP) is a global programme supported by the world?s leading water agencies, executed by the World Bank, operating in about 40 countries. It’s activities in South Asia (Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka) are coordinated by the regional office in New Delhi. The India Country Team oversees Programme activities in India. The WSP mission is to assist poor people gain sustained access to improved water and sanitation services. In the urban sector, the programme plans to assist municipalities in improving their water and sanitation services for the poor, by focusing on improved institutional arrangements and capacity building.
