Aim/Objective/Mission : Our vision is an egalitarian society in which all community members can realize their right to a life of quality and dignity. This vision is guided by three operating principles equality, strengthening community institutions and similarity. Our key strategies for creating sustainable rural development are using a rights-based approach and leveraging women’s empowerment. While our long-term goal is to develop project models that can be replicated by government agencies statewide, ssn has already created a major health awareness initiative on sanitation under a project of government of Bihar, brought clean water and sanitation to 250 rural families, trained more than 200 women for make themselves independent and empowered so that they can acheive a leadership positions, provided diffrent types of trainings so that they can start first-time independent businesses, conducted 30 awareness programms to make people awared towards plantation, health, safety and many more fields.
