Aims/Objectives/Mission : Ship started as a non-government and non-profitable organisation in year 1986 with the motto to undertake social reconstruction programmes that can better the socio-economic conditions of the needy with an integrated approach. To undertake programmes that can promote ecological balance. To venture into action oriented research activities and conduct experiments in innovative strategies, methodologies and techniques to combat the maladies of our present society. To organize, conduct and participate in various training programmes,seminars, conferences, workshops etc., on different aspects of human/rural development. To extend professional and financial guidance and assistance to individual, small groups and institutions those are in congruence with the objectives of ship. To undertake relief activities during natural calamities and at times of emergency situations. To undertake any or all activities related to transfer/promotion of appropriate and alternative rural technology.
