Aims/Objectives/Mission : FIST has emerged as a result of the collective hands from a rich hands-on grassroots experience in different development sectors both in rural and urban contexts in Prakasam district. The CEOs of various development organizations in the district have converged with varied ideological backgrounds and decades of development expertise to evolve as congregated NGO force called FIST. The one common thread that runs through the Federation is the vision to serve the poor and needy more specifically the so called lowest strata of the socio-economical hierarchical ladder in the society. The overall goal of this united forum is to build a society where poverty and exploitation not tolerated, human ethos and egalitarian values are upheld and appreciated ushering a transformed society. In all its approach it exercises people-oriented, non-violent, democratic and gender-sensitive values adhering to the laws of the land.
